The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has mandated this recall after an inquiry initiated in March, following 145 complaints predominantly from Honda Civic drivers about steering issues. This recall aims to replace the worm gear spring and reapply grease at no cost to the vehicle owners. Impacted customers will begin receiving notifications from November 18.
